These iron bridges were created along Koseki no Michi (the Ore Road) connecting Ikuno and the Mikobata Mine. Mikobata Cast Iron Bridge is the oldest all-cast-iron bridge in Japan. With its dual-arch construction, the Habuchi Cast Iron Bridge has a different appearance from the Mikobata Cast Iron Bridge.
