“Fresh Asago” serves not only as a service area along the Bantan Renraku Road but also a roadside station for the Koseki-no-Michi (Ore Road) area. The location is also the birthplace of Iwatsu Negi, one of Japan’s three largest varieties of leeks. In addition to fresh vegetables for sale, the establishment’s unique meals made using venison and other ingredients are popular items.
