Including Ontaki and Medaki Falls, Nagusa-no-Taki Falls is said to include 48 falls and has been selected as one of Hyogo’s eight best views, one of the prefecture’s 100 top tourist spots, and even one of the top 100 scenic spots in the Kinki area. Of these, Ontaki is the most notable with a 72 m long drop measuring 3 m wide and bouncing off 48 different steps throughout the year. Visit during the rainy season or any other time the waterfall is at its most powerful for the best experience.
