Tegarayama Central Park is a municipal park covering some 38 hectares. Built around the cenotaph for the city’s air-raid victims of the Pacific theater of WWII, the park features numerous culture and sports facilities, including a rotating observation deck, the Himeji Peace Museum, an aquarium, a greenhouse botanical garden, the Green Counseling Center, a cultural center, the Tegarayama Amusement Park, a municipal swimming pool, Wink Gymnasium, and the Himeji Athletic Field.
